Acquiring my Green Thumb

I am now working on an agriculture project and learning a lot about crops, plants, planting, cropping and all things associated, especially when I am out on field missions. On my last field mission it was the same; walking through the fields and forests and across rivers, I kept asking about the plants:

Me: “What’s that plant?”

Farmer/Colleague: “Okra”

Me: “What’s that plant?”

Farmer/Colleague: “Sorghum”

Me: “What’s that plant?”

Farmer/Colleague: “Sesame”

(Ok, retrospectively, I may be a very annoying person to go on mission with)

Me: “What’s that plant?”

Farmer/Colleague: “Cowpeas”

Me: “What’s that plant?”

Farmer/Colleague: “Pigeonpeas”

At one point we saw a man cycling down the road holding a seedling.

Me: “What’s that plant?”

Farmer/Colleague: “That one? Oh that one we call hashish”

Noted.
